Starting immediately, all seller payouts on Novelship can be requested once your item has been successfully authenticated from your NS Pay Balance . This means you now have full control of your sale payouts and when to receive them in your registered bank account or to use them to purchase a product.
Note: Your payout status will changed to "Processed" after your sales are authenticated and will be credited to your NS Pay Balance immediately.
To avoid any delays with payout processing, please ensure your payout details are up to date.
Updating your payout information:
- The seller should make sure that the name on the beneficiary bank account matches the name on your Novelship payout details. If the names do not match, we will not be able to process your payout.
- The seller should choose the correct Account Type: Savings or Checking.
- The seller should input the correct payout bank name and its respective branch code. When entering the Bank Name, please ensure that it is spelt out accurately. We are not responsible for payout failures due to inaccurate information.
- The seller must fill in the correct Bank Account Number. Please make sure to key in the correct account number without space and dashes.
- For sellers from Japan, you need to input your Bank Name and its respective 3-digit Branch Code.
- For sellers from Australia, you need to input your BSB code following this format (NNN-NNN) (e.g. 082-902).
Note: Sellers should not enter their payment card number as the Bank Account Number as the payout will bounce.
How to update your payout information
For sellers from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Germany and India:
- Login to your Novelship account
- Go to My Account on the upper right corner of your screen
- On your profile, look for Settings on the left panel
- Scroll down and look for Selling Info and click edit
- Then scroll down to Payout Bank as seen below
For sellers from Japan:
- Login to your Novelship account
- Go to My Account on the upper right corner of your screen
- On your profile, look for Settings on the left panel
- Scroll down and look for Selling Info and click edit
- Then scroll down to Payout Bank as seen below
For sellers from Australia:
- Login to your Novelship account
- Go to My Account on the upper right corner of your screen
- On your profile, look for Settings on the left panel
- Scroll down and look for Selling Info and click edit
- Then scroll down to Payout Bank as seen below
Note: Please ensure that you enter the correct information and click save.
What is the information needed to process your payout?
What are the key conditions?
- The sellers must input a Payout Bank operating in the country where the shipment is shipped out from.
- If the Payout Bank account country does not match the country of shipment, we will not be able to process payout.
Why is the payout request button not working?
- When there is no available payout balance for request, you will not be able to request for payout
- There is a missing field that needs to be completed. Please make sure to fill out all the fields specially your Date of Birth.
Note: Missing field will be highlighted in red.
What to do when I don’t receive my payout? What if my payout information is incorrectly entered?
- If the payout has bounced, the seller would not have received the payout.
- The seller must contact customer support to enquire and our team will then initiate an investigation.
- If the payout bounced due to inaccurate information, the seller must update their payout information, and make another request for payout. The payout will then be re-processed in the next payout cycle.
Note: A re-processing fee of 2.50 SGD (or 7.50 MYR, 15 HKD, 2.50 AUD, 2.00 USD in re-processing fee) will be deducted from your payout.
- If payout did not bounce, but was paid out to the erroneously entered account, the payout is considered complete. For payouts that reached someone else’s account due to the misentered payout information, we are unable to revert the process on our end.

- Contact the bank and find out if the money can still be delivered, or
- Whether the bank will send it back to Novelship
