Transporting goods carries an inherent risk, but our Delivery Protection is there to give you added security. It’s our way of making sure you have complete peace of mind, no matter where we are delivering the items to.

Our Delivery Protection is tailored to your specific needs and the value of the items you purchased from Novelship. Protect your orders now and worry no more.

How does it work?

With added delivery protection, your purchase has a capped claimable amount of the declared value during your purchase. For example: If your parcel has a declared value of $100 without delivery protection and you added delivery protection at a declared value of $150, you can claim an amount of $150 whichever is higher.

Once claims are successful, we will request for you to provide your recipient payout bank account details for us to process the claims payout to you.

Can I add Delivery Protection for purchases to and from Novelship Storage?

We do not support delivery protection for purchases to and from Novelship Storage at this time.

Can I add Delivery Protection for purchases below SGD 100?

Delivery Protection is not applicable for purchases below SGD 100 equivalent to your local currency as basic coverage is already applied.

What is the maximum and minimum amount declaration for each purchase?

The maximum amount should not exceed the product price and the minimum amount should not be lower than SGD 100 equivalent to your local currency.

Is it applicable for “Make an Offer” and “Buy Now” purchases?

Yes, it is applicable for both “Make an Offer” and “Buy Now” purchases.

Can I add Delivery Protection after I made my purchase?

Definitely! We have add on feature where you can add delivery protection after you made your purchase. Check our How to add Delivery Protection (Post Purchase) guide below.

How to add Delivery Protection

Steps:

On the Review Purchase or Review offer page, tick the small box beside “I would like to protect my delivery”.
Input the declaration amount.
Tick the purchase agreement box.
Click on Confirm Offer or Confirm Purchase to proceed.

How to add Delivery Protection (Post Purchase)

Add on is only applicable for order statuses below.

Order Confirmed
Waiting for seller to ship
Seller Shipped Out
Arrived For Authentication
Authenticating

Steps:

1. Head over to your account dashboard under Buying > Confirmed Purchases or click "VIEW PURCHASE"

2. Click on "ADD ON".

3. Select"Purchase Delivery Protection".

4. Enter the declaration value, following the minimum product price value as stated above.

5. Select your payment. Note: AfterPay, Hoolah and other installment payment terms is not applicable for Add on.

6. Read and understand the import duties, taxes and fees and tick the box once done.

7. Click on "CONFIRM PURCHASE".

8. Double check the details again and click on "CONFIRM" to complete the process.

9. Once successful, you will see the details below.

Note: You can only choose 1 add on (Purchase Delivery Protection or Store in Novelship Storage). If any of the two has been added, you can no longer make another add on.

Novelship reserves the right to deny any claim or request for refund in connection with a pattern of fraudulent user behavior or negligence that Novelship determines in its sole and reasonable discretion should result to account suspension.
