The buyer is responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and other fees applicable to the order upon delivery. The delivery fee only covers the delivery from the processing center to the buyer's address unless otherwise stated.
Singapore
Starting January 1st, 2023, a new policy has been introduced in Singapore that requires all item to be charged a goods and services tax (GST: sales tax) of 8% at the time of purchase, regardless of the item value. This means that the 8% will be applied at checkout and there is no need to pay for import tax when the item reaches customs. Please note that this policy applies to all buyers in Singapore only including products in storage for international orders.
Australia
For Australia, international orders will be charged a goods and services tax (GST: sales tax) of 10% at the time of purchase, regardless of the item value. This means that the 10% will be applied at checkout and there is no need to pay for import tax when the item reaches customs. Please note that this is including products in storage for international orders.
Other Countries
Kindly check with the customs authority of your country to see what is the cut-off amount for import taxes and what rates you will need to pay. By default, we will declare the product at either the lower end of the retail price or purchase price. This is applicable for all countries aside from Singapore and Australia.
Note: Novelship nor DHL is not responsible in imposing the tax, it will be your local customs office.
