Cancellation of Sale

Once a list has been accepted or a sale is confirmed, a transaction is considered to have occurred. To maintain marketplace integrity, we need to ensure that the lists and sales made by sellers are real and dependable, as such sellers are not allowed to cancel a transaction after it has been made. Please remember that in every sales list accepted or sales confirmed, there is a buyer on the other end expecting the transaction to complete. As such, every sales list made by a seller is a representation of the seller’s intent to commit 100% to completing the transaction.

For Organic Sellers, sales cancellations (Seller Flake) will result in a flat SGD $20 equivalent penalty fee per occurrence.

For Power Sellers, sales cancellations (Seller Flake) will result in 1 penalty fee waiver being deducted per occurrence to offset the penalty fees. Upon utilisation of all penalty fee waivers, power sellers will then be charged a flat SGD $20 (equivalent to local currency) penalty fee for all subsequent seller flakes.

In the event that Novelship is not able to bill the above penalty amount, the seller's selling fee will then be increased and fixed at 9.0%, or the seller’s selling account will be suspended, or both, until the full penalty amount has been paid.
