# What happens if my return request is declined?

A return may be declined if the item shows signs of wear, the Novelship Authentication Tag has been removed, or it is not in its original packaging. If a request is declined, we will provide a detailed explanation and ship the item back to you. We maintain these strict standards to guarantee that every product in our ecosystem remains in pristine condition.
