# How can I avoid return fees and penalties?

The best way to avoid fees is to double-check your item before shipping. Ensure it is 100% authentic, brand new ("Deadstock"), and matches the exact size and SKU listed. Following our double-boxing requirements and shipping within the 48-hour window will also ensure a successful, fee-free payout.
